
On Monday, the skies will mostly be cloudy, clearing up from the west in the afternoon. Starting around midnight, a large precipitation zone will move across Latvia from the west – rain is expected throughout the country, with heavy showers and thunderstorms in some areas. Fog may form overnight in the northeastern regions, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
A light to moderate wind will blow from the south, shifting to the west during the day. The minimum air temperature at night will range from +9 to +14°C, and in the eastern regions from +7 to +10°C. During the day, temperatures will rise to +15 to +20°C, though coastal areas may see only +13 to +15°C.
On Tuesday, partly cloudy weather is expected. Rain is likely in many areas during the day, with possible thunderstorms in the central and eastern parts of the country. A light to moderate southwesterly to westerly wind will prevail. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +7 to +11°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +14 to +19°C.
Midweek weather will remain similar – sunshine will alternate with clouds, widespread rain is expected, and some areas may experience thunderstorms. Nighttime temperatures will fall to around +10°C, while during the day, the mercury will rise above +20°C in many places.
