Both on Friday and during the weekend, the sun will shine at times. At night, rainfall will be limited to isolated areas, but during the day, rain is expected across most of the territory. Localized heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely, and hail is also possible, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On the nights leading into Friday and Saturday, high humidity and light winds will contribute to fog formation in some regions. While light winds will prevail overall, they may become gusty during thunderstorms. Nighttime temperatures will range from +13°C to +19°C, while daytime temperatures will be between +21°C and +27°C.
At the start of the new week, weather conditions will continue to be influenced by cyclonic activity.
Therefore, forecasts remain similar to recent days—rain is expected in various regions each day, with occasional thunder, and both daytime and nighttime temperatures will remain warm. Monday may turn out to be the rainiest day of the upcoming week, as a cyclone center moves northward across Latvia, bringing a wide precipitation zone with heavy rain.
