
On the night to Monday, skies will gradually clear, and during the day only a few clouds are expected. No precipitation is forecast, but fog may form in some areas at night, reducing visibility.
A light to moderate easterly wind will blow. Nighttime air temperatures will drop to +1…+4°C, with frost down to 0…-1°C in places. Along the western coast of the Gulf of Riga, it will be milder, staying at +7…+9°C. Daytime highs will reach +10…+14°C.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, clouds will occasionally obscure the sun. On Tuesday, light rain is expected in some western and central regions, while Wednesday will pass without significant precipitation. With light winds, fog will thicken in some areas during the night and morning. Nights will remain chilly, with air temperatures falling to +2…+7°C. Frost down to 0…-1°C is possible in places, especially on the grass surface by Wednesday. Along the Kurzeme coast, nights will be considerably milder, dropping only to +5…+10°C.
Days will also remain cool, with highs of just +10…+12°C.
In the second half of the week, the influence of the high-pressure system will gradually weaken. Temperatures will stay similar to earlier in the week, but cloud cover will increase, with light rain expected in some places.
Over the weekend, rain is forecast across the entire country, with winds strengthening significantly and becoming gusty, reaching 15–19 m/s along the coast. Daytime temperatures will range from +10…+15°C, while Saturday night into Sunday will be relatively mild – under cloud cover, temperatures will stay at +9…+13°C.
