
On Tuesday, clouds will occasionally cover the sun, but no significant precipitation is expected, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre. A light to moderate northeasterly and easterly wind will blow.
The night will be chilly, with minimum temperatures dropping to +1…+3°C, and in some areas down to 0…-2°C. Frost is therefore expected not only on grass surfaces but also in the air. Along the Gulf of Riga coast, it will be milder, with lows of +3…+8°C. Daytime temperatures will remain cool, rising only to +8…+13°C.
On Wednesday and Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine. The days will pass without significant precipitation, accompanied by light winds.
On Wednesday night and in the morning, fog will form in parts of western Latvia, reducing visibility.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to +1…+4°C, with frost of 0…-1°C possible, while coastal areas will be a few degrees warmer. Daytime highs will not exceed +15°C.
Towards the end of the week, the influence of the high-pressure system will gradually weaken. Starting Friday, rain is expected in some areas, and nights will be milder compared to the beginning of the week, with temperatures no longer falling below 0°C.
