
The Latvian government and its work most frequently evoke pessimism among residents, according to a public opinion survey conducted by the research center SKDS.
When asked, “When you hear about the Latvian government and its work in the public space, what feelings does it usually evoke in you?”, 39% of respondents said pessimism, while 34% said anger.
Meanwhile, 12% reported feeling indifferent, only 4% expressed satisfaction, and another 4% said they felt optimistic.
The survey was conducted in October 2025, with the participation of 1,005 respondents.
