On Tuesday, skies will be mostly cloudy, with clearer conditions and some sunshine expected in western and central regions. In the east, occasional light rain is forecast. Winds will be light. Daytime temperatures will reach +8°C to +13°C, while coastal areas will remain cooler at +3°C to +7°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Wednesday and Thursday, skies will feature variable cloud cover. During daylight hours on Wednesday, skies will clear, although light rain is expected in parts of the east during the first half of the night. Winds will remain light, and fog will form in some areas overnight and in the morning. Nighttime temperatures will drop to between -1°C and +4°C, and slightly lower on Wednesday night at 0°C to -3°C.
Daytime temperatures will again rise to +8°C to +13°C, with +3°C to +7°C along the coast.
In the second half of the week, the influence of a cyclone will intensify. Skies will often be overcast, with precipitation expected at times across much of the country, mainly in the form of rain. Over the weekend, winds will gradually shift to the southwest and west, strengthening with gusts reaching 15–18 m/s. Only on the night into Friday will temperatures still fall below 0°C in some areas, while daytime highs are expected to range from +3°C to +8°C along the coast and +9°C to +13°C across much of Latvia.
