On Wednesday, skies will be partly cloudy and no significant precipitation is expected. Light to moderate northwesterly to northerly winds will blow, with gusts reaching up to 14 m/s along the coast early in the night. Overnight temperatures will drop to between −1 and +4°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +6 to +9°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Thursday night, skies will remain partly cloudy, with cloud cover increasing during the day. From the second half of the night, a precipitation zone will move across Latvia—light precipitation is expected in many areas, mainly rain, with sleet possible in some places. Winds will be light to moderate from the west. Overnight, temperatures will again fall below 0°C in many areas, while coastal regions will remain slightly warmer at +1 to +4°C. During the day, temperatures will rise to +5 to +10°C, reaching up to +12°C in the west.
On Friday, skies will be partly cloudy, with fewer clouds in the western regions. Light rain is possible in some eastern areas. Winds will be light from the west. Nighttime temperatures will range from +1 to +5°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +14 to +19°C, and +10 to +13°C along much of the coast.
Toward the end of the week, weather conditions in Latvia will be influenced by a high-pressure system, bringing improvement—winds will become light, cloud cover will decrease, and sunshine will become more frequent.
Saturday is expected to be dry and mostly sunny, while rain is forecast in many areas on Sunday. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +5 to +10°C, while daytime temperatures will rise above +20°C in many places, with slightly cooler conditions near the coast. At the beginning of next week, temperatures will remain similar, with occasional short periods of rain expected in some areas.
