On Tuesday, skies will be partly cloudy, with occasional clear spells during the day. The day will pass without precipitation, although at night some eastern areas may experience light, short-term rain, and fog may form in places, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Winds will be light to moderate from the south. At night, temperatures in some areas will drop to between -2°C and +2°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +6°C to +11°C, reaching up to +12°C in the far southeast.
On Wednesday and Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy, although on Thursday there will be occasional clearing in the far western and eastern parts of the country.
On Wednesday, light rain is expected in parts of Kurzeme and Vidzeme, while on Thursday a precipitation zone will move across Latvia from the west, bringing rain to most of the country.
Winds will remain light to moderate from the south, strengthening along the coast on Wednesday
and becoming gusty during the day. Night-time temperatures will stay above freezing, at around +2°C to +7°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +8°C to +13°C.
On Friday, rain is still expected at times in the eastern regions, with more cloud cover, but in the second half of the week the weather will become drier and sunnier. Night-time temperatures will range between -2°C and +3°C. During the day, temperatures will reach +8°C to +13°C, slightly cooler along the coast at +3°C to +8°C, while in some southeastern areas temperatures may climb as high as +15°C.
