During the day, however, skies will be mostly clear and no precipitation is expected. With light winds, fog will form in some areas during the night, reducing visibility in places. Overnight temperatures will drop to between +12°C and +17°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +22°C to +27°C. Coastal areas will be slightly cooler, with temperatures ranging from +20°C to +22°C.
On Līgo Day (23 June), skies will be partly cloudy, but no rain is forecast. During the night into Tuesday, fog may form in some western regions. Light winds will continue. On Midsummer Night (Jāņu Night), skies will be mostly cloudy. In western and central Latvia, clouds may bring light rain in some locations. During Jāņu Day, sunshine and clouds will alternate, with isolated showers expected in some areas. By the afternoon, thunderstorms may also develop locally in eastern Latvia. Winds will remain light. Temperatures overnight will range from +11°C to +15°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to between +18°C and +23°C.
During the second half of the week, temperatures are expected to remain similar to those seen earlier in the week. Light rain is possible in some areas, while light and variable winds will continue to dominate.
The coming weekend is currently forecast to be largely free of significant precipitation. During daylight hours, temperatures may approach and, in some places, even exceed the +30°C mark.
