On Wednesday and Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy, with sunshine appearing only in some areas, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Brief rain will continue in many areas, with heavy thundery showers expected in some places. Fog will form locally during the night and morning hours.
Light to moderate westerly winds will prevail, while on Thursday afternoon south-westerly and westerly winds will strengthen along the coast, with gusts reaching up to 14 m/s. Gusty winds will continue into Friday night.
Minimum overnight temperatures will range from +11°C to +17°C, while daytime highs will reach +16°C to +20°C.
Towards the end of the first week of September and at the beginning of next week, further rain zones will continue to cross Latvia, while winds will also become gusty.
Daytime temperatures will reach +14°C to +19°C, while overnight lows will mostly range between +10°C and +15°C. During the weekend, temperatures may fall slightly below +10°C in some areas.
