During the day, light rain is expected in some areas, gradually spreading across almost all of Latvia by the afternoon. Thunderstorms may also occur locally, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
A light to moderate southerly wind will blow, shifting to southeast and east during the day. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +12…+16°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +20…+25°C. It will be cooler in Kurzeme and along the Gulf of Riga coast, where temperatures will reach only +17…+19°C.
On Tuesday, skies will be mostly cloudy, but there will be occasional clear spells throughout the day. Rain is expected in many places overnight, with thunderstorms possible in the eastern part of the country.
During the day, precipitation will be less widespread, with rain expected only in isolated areas.
A light wind will shift from the southwest and west in the second half of the night, gradually strengthening slightly. Nighttime temperatures will fall to +14…+18°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +19…+24°C. It will be slightly cooler along the coast of Kurzeme.
On Wednesday, the sky will remain mostly cloudy, although in the early night hours there will be temporary clearings in many areas. Rain is expected during the day in many places, especially in central and eastern regions, where it may become heavy. Fog may form in some regions at night, significantly reducing visibility. A light to moderate westerly wind will turn from the north and northeast during the day. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +11…+16°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +17…+22°C.
In the second half of the week, precipitation is expected throughout the country. On Thursday, heavy rainfall is expected in some areas, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms. The wind will be gusty at times but is expected to gradually calm down by the weekend. Night temperatures will hover around +15°C, while daytime temperatures will rise only up to +22°C.
